FIRED UP: Ugandan women activists carry signs outside the Constitutional Court building in May 2012, protesting the delay of a ruling in a landmark lawsuit regarding two women who bled to death while giving birth in Ugandan hospitals. The petitioners argue that by not providing essential medical commodities and health services to pregnant women, the government is violating the constitutional rights of Ugandans. ~ THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR GENEROUS COMMENTS ~
Lhasa Foundation is currently based in San Blas Mexico in the state of Nayarit. We are beyond blessed to be here in beautiful tropics and very enthusiastic to support the community in building Superadobes. We had a flood and two apx 5.0 earthquakes in the summer of 2010 and after witnessing the damage done by both (minor cracks from the earthquakes to collapsed walls of the standard box frame concrete brick structures common here in Mexico from the flood) it is clear that we all would benefit from the durability and security of building with Superadobe with added aesthetic bonus of the fluid round shapes so admired in domes. I have posted pictures of the Earthbag Roundhouse in Thailand as it is a quaint example of what can be built here in Sayulita and most represents the style desired. Most people here will require more living space, the nature of Superadobe provides endless design options, all fluid and in harmony with nature~ The opportunities are amazing and infinite! We look forward to hearing from you and can be contacted by email via connect@lhasafoundation.org.

Super Adobe !~!~ What an amazing concept! Nader Khalili’s blend of Rumi & Architecture founded this low cost, environmentally sustainable building technology using our primary elements of Earth, Air, Fire & Water. Originally founded on the idea that these ‘materials of war’ (feed/grain bags & barbed wire & cement) can be found virtually anywhere on the globe. These Super ‘Domes’ can be made into an emergency shelter in the event the ‘mother storm’ is rolling in or afterward to provide shelter in refugee camps and finally can be constructed into Beautiful Low cost homes or villages for extreme permanency !!! How does it work? Harvest the earth up from under your feet and mix with a small amount of cement & water and pack into short polypropylene bags or the wondrous ‘long bag roll’ from Cal-Earth. Barbed wire acts as a dry mortar in between the bag rolls and they are coiled up in accordance to the measurement of the simple 2 compass system there by forming a Beautiful monolithic structures that can then be plastered inside and out with the same earth blend used to fill the bags. These structures can withstand extremely high winds, floods, fires & earthquakes! Absolutely Gorgeous !~

Lhasa Foundation is a Non-Profit International NGO (Non Governmental Organization) Founded on the principles that WE ARE ALL ONE. The Illusion of our separation, from each other and ALL Life on Earth has manifested an imbalance within Ourselves, Our Families and our Environments.
Through conversion to sustainable lifestyles and by eliminating our addiction to fossil fuels, we can greatly reduce our ‘Footprint’ on the Earth and have the opportunity to be a part of the Unification of our Global Community.
The gap between our 3rd and 1st world countries is staggering. If our current population of 6.8 billion indulged in a western lifestyle we would require 5-6 Extra planets solely for agriculture. Right Now the fastest growing movement on Earth is that of Non-Profits or NGO’s All working for the balancing of our Planet’s Communities and Environments !
Lhasa Foundation’s mission is to “Convert to & Create Sustainable EcoVillages Worldwide. Reconnecting us to a lifestyle that replenishes our Environments and places us back into smaller, closer family based ‘Green’ communities.
